Honestly? Nothing! I'm there to document the authenticity of your day, and my goal is to interfere with that as little as possible! However, if you want detail shots of all the little sentimental things involved in your day, I do ask that you have those ready for me prior to my arrival, but we'll get into all the details once you've locked in your date and we've made things officially official!
Your promised turnaround time will largely depend on the nature of your wedding day, but I aim to get your photos back in 4-12 weeks.
Elopements typically only involve the couple, an officiant, your photographer and videographer, and maybe a musician if you're feeling fancy. ;) Elopements can really take place anywhere and are more activity-based after the ceremony, so you may choose to hike together or grab a pizza, whatever feels right for you and your person. Whereas an intimate wedding may involve your closest family and friends and will prioritize the couple's desires to involve their loved ones without overwhelming themselves with the festivities and nuances associated with a bigger scale wedding.
It's so incredibly important to me that I am able to build an authentic connection with you prior to your wedding/elopement day. Getting to hang out before your special day via your engagement session gives you the opportunity to get a better understanding of my approach to creating authentic moments for you and your partner, and it gives us time to debrief on any details that we didn't previously cover in our previous chats (aka your discovery call or over email) that will be important for me to know prior to spending one of the most important days of your life together.
YES! 1000 TIMES YES! I'm a dreamer by nature, so getting to help curate a day that you'll remember for decades to come and will look forward to telling your grandchildren about is my JAM. I'm down to help find locations, activities for you to do together, or even a shopping list that are custom to you and your relationship. All of my couples are provided with a collaborative board for us to gather ideas for what your dream elopement or wedding day would look like, so I'd be thrilled to help bring those dreams to life.
Because your wedding day is so unique to you, it would be unfair for me to fit your wedding package into a "once size fits all" kinda box for travel. That's why all travel fees will be calculated after our initial consultation call. I'll send you your custom proposal which will list travel costs, which will then be figured into your individualized payment plan.
